AmRest seeks an IT Country Leader to guide the Germany IT organization, translating global strategies into local execution and driving reliable services for restaurant and office operations.

You will lead IT support, manage budgets, vendors, and projects, and foster a high-performing team while ensuring security compliance and continuous improvement. Strong German and English, plus travel willingness, are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in IT service delivery or IT operations, including leadership in multi-site or multi-country environments.
• Experience coordinating and delivering IT projects aligned with business needs.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving abilities with hands-on execution in a dynamic setting.
• Proven collaboration with international teams and adherence to global standards.

As IT Country Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing the local IT organization in the Germany, ensuring reliable IT services that support both restaurant and office operations. You will act as a key business partner, translating global IT strategies into effective local execution while driving operational excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and business growth.

• Lead first line of IT support for restaurants and office for defined market, ensuring reliable service delivery, high user satisfaction, and effective support for daily business activities, while remaining actively involved in key IT operations and technical initiatives.
• Act as a strategic partner to the business by understanding the markets needs and adopting global IT strategies, standards, and priorities, while identifying opportunities to enhance processes, service quality, and operational efficiency.
• Manage the local IT operations and delivery, including vendors relationship, IT projects, infrastructure, asset lifecycle, and budget planning, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business needs.
• Lead and develop a high-performing local IT team by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, audit requirements, software licensing policies, and corporate procedures while maintaining a stable and secure IT environment.

Requirements

• University degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in IT service delivery or IT operations, including substantial experience leading teams in a multi-site or multi-country environment. Expected solid experience in IT support and service delivery within a complex business environment.
• Proven experience in coordinating and delivering IT projects aligned with business needs.
• Strong business acumen, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a dynamic environment.
• Proven track record of cooperating with international teams and consistently working in alignment with established global standards.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing new standardization initiatives and ensuring continuous compliance with corporate guidelines.
• Native German and professional English proficiency.
• Driving license and willingness to travel when required (local travels).
