Job summary

PER in Hamburg is expanding its team. As an associate you will join the deal team and be involved end-to-end across the deal cycle, from sourcing to deal structuring and execution.

You will focus on financial analysis, build financial models (including LBOs), coordinate with external advisors during due diligence, and participate in post-investment monitoring of portfolio companies. Fluent German and English are required.

Qualifications

• M&A background from a reputable investment bank, strategy consulting or private equity.
• Excellent financial modelling skills and commercial judgement.
• Business fluent in German and English.

Responsibilities

• Join the deal team and be involved end-to-end across the deal cycle, from sourcing to deal structuring and execution.
• Focus on financial analysis and key due diligence workstreams.
• Build financial models (e.g. LBO models) and prepare investment committee materials.
