Job summary

ACL Partners is looking for an Investment Associate to join its Frankfurt team. The role offers hands-on exposure to investment opportunities, transaction execution and portfolio development, working closely with senior investment professionals.

You will evaluate technology and software opportunities, conduct financial analysis and modelling, support transactions from screening through due diligence, and prepare investment memoranda for the investment committee; strong German and English skills

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in private equity, growth equity, investment banking/M&A or management consulting.
• Fluent German is mandatory, alongside strong English communication skills.
• Exposure to technology, software or tech-enabled businesses.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of financial statements, valuation and investment analysis.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to evaluate companies and investment opportunities.
• Excellent academic background and strong attention to detail.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial personality with an interest in investing.
