Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a motivated student to join our optics and mechatronics team in Oberkochen, Germany. The role blends academic study with hands-on project work on optomechanics, kinematics, and mechanical design.

You will contribute to the development of active optical modules, piezoelectric technology, and electromagnetic drives, using CAD and high-performance sensing in optical systems. Team collaboration, reliability, and a structured, analytical approach are valued as you gain industry

Qualifications

• Strong academic record in technical physics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field.
• Interest in design-oriented problems, including CAD.
• Teamwork, reliability, and analytical, structured working style.

Responsibilities

• Optomechanics, including kinematics, mechanisms, and mechanical design.
• Development of active optical modules with a focus on piezoelectric technology and electromagnetic drives.
