Job summary

ZEISS in Oberkochen, Germany is seeking a motivated student for hands-on experience in cutting-edge optics and mechatronics. You will contribute to optomechanical design, active optical modules, and vibration-damping systems while applying your theoretical knowledge in a practical project environment.

Ideal candidates are completing technical physics, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering studies with strong CAD interest and teamwork spirit, and good German and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Successful academic record with excellent grades in technical physics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
• Interest in constructive/design-oriented problems, including CAD
• Very strong knowledge in one or more of the above emphasis areas
• Interest in working as part of a team
• High motivation and reliability, as well as analytical, independent, and structured working style
• Good German and English language skills
