Schaeffler is seeking an internship in Sales Excellence focused on data science and AI use cases. You will collect and preprocess large datasets, enhance Power BI dashboards, and create data-driven insights for smarter sales decisions.

The role requires studies in Data Science or related fields, strong German and good English, and skills in Python/SQL/R for automating data workflows. This internship runs for 6 months and offers hands-on experience in a global tech environment.

Qualifications

• Studies in Data Science, (Business) Informatics, (Business) Engineering, or a comparable field of study.
• Very good verbal and written skills in German as well as good skills in English.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience with data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, including dashboard creation and maintenance to communicate insights effectively.
• Proficiency in data preprocessing skills such as data cleaning, feature engineering, handling missing values, and normalization.
• Skills in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, R) to automate data workflows and streamline processes.
• Strong foundation in machine learning concepts, including supervised learning, classification algorithms, model evaluation, and validation techniques.
• Familiarity with model deployment and automation concepts is a plus to facilitate integration into business processes.
• Independent, structured, and responsible working style combined with a strong willingness to learn.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
