Job summary

n8n GmbH is seeking an information architect to design and operate the company’s shared context infrastructure — the brain that helps people and AI agents access accurate, well-structured knowledge across the company.

You will define taxonomy, templates, and standards, onboard teams, and enable non-technical contributors to contribute high-quality context, ensuring consistency and governance as knowledge sources grow.

Responsibilities

• Define taxonomy, structure, contributor guidelines, and templates that turn fragmented company knowledge into reliable, reusable context.
• Establish standards that make knowledge easy to navigate, maintain, and use without creating duplication or content sprawl.
• Evolve these standards as our functions, knowledge sources, and agentic use cases grow.
• Onboard functions to the company brain and train designated champions to structure and maintain their own knowledge over time.
• Guide non-technical contributors the templates and support they need to contribute high-quality context independently.

Your main goal will be to build and operate n8n’s shared context infrastructure — our “company brain” — so both people and AI agents can reliably access accurate, well-structured, and appropriately governed knowledge across the company.

To make that happen, you’ll shape how our knowledge is structured, contributed, accessed, and maintained as we build the context layer powering n8n’s agentic future:

DESIGN OUR INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE

• Define the taxonomy, structure, contributor guidelines, and templates that turn fragmented company knowledge into reliable, reusable context.
