Job summary

mc Group in Berlin seeks an Intern/Trainee Concept Writer + Bit management (m/f/d) to develop creative campaigns and communication strategies for political, nation branding, tourism, and business clients.

You will liaise with staff and external stakeholders, support tenders from brief to proposal, and coordinate multiple projects to ensure timely, high-quality tender documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, PR or journalism.
• 3 years of PR experience in preparing communication strategies or in account management.
• Comprehensive experience and understanding of the bid management process is an asset.
• Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English written and spoken skills; German is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative campaigns and communication strategies for clients in politics, nation branding, tourism and business.
• Coordinate with mc Group staff and external stakeholders to implement robust communication strategies.
• Support tendering from brief reception to proposal submission.
• Coordinate priorities and resources across multiple projects.

• Prepare work plans and budgets, and support bid team in proposals development.
• Compile proposal documents in a structured format per tendering standards in a timely manner.

Your responsibilities:

• Development of creative campaigns and communication strategies for clients from the fields of politics, nation branding, tourism and business, from the German and international markets
• Liaise with mc Group´s staff and other external stakeholders to develop and implement a robust communication strategy
• Support the tendering process, from the reception of the brief to the submission of the proposal
• Coordinate priorities and resources among multiple projects
• Ensure high quality of communication strategies developed for the tender processes.
• Prepare work plans and budgets, and support the bid team in the development of proposals
• Compile proposal documents in a structured format as per the standards of the tendering institution in a timely manner

Your profile:

• At least a bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, public relations or journalism
• 3 years of PR Experience in preparing communication strategies or experience in account management
• Comprehensive experience and understanding of the Bid Management process would be an asset
• A positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal skills
• An ability to successfully manage change in a fast-paced environment
• You have excellent English written and spoken skills. German is considered an asset.
