Rocket Factory Augsburg - RFA in Augsburg invites motivated interns to join the Software Site Team. You will support high-performance engineering in aerospace with hands-on tasks across data analysis and tools development.

The role focuses on building models, Python tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and Monte Carlo simulations, requiring independence and strong English communication. This temporary position offers international collaboration and exposure to the New Space movement.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in Bachelor or Master studies in Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics or related discipline
• Basics of statistics, analysis, model generation, and verification
• Experience working with Python, Git
• Knowledge of state-space representation and high fidelity statistics
• Fluent in spoken and written English (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
• Able to work independently, with a hands-on mentality and a structured way of working

• Build and maintain a detailed mathematical model to quantify and mitigate risks associated with our launch operations
• Develop pre- and post-processing python tools to support the flight safety analysis
• Implement CI/CD and Git pipelines for streamlined data analysis and cross-departmental collaboration
• Perform statistical analysis and Monte Carlo simulation
