Zusammenfassung

Rocket Factory Augsburg is seeking an Intern (m/f/d) Development Engineer to support the design team in turning concepts into manufacturing-ready drawings and prototypes. You will work in a dynamic, international environment focused on high-performance aerospace engineering solutions and hands-on tasks in a lab and production setting.

The internship requires enrollment in a relevant degree (Aerospace/Mechanical), at least 5–6 months availability, CAD proficiency, and good English communication.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Available for an internship duration of at least 5–6 months.
• Skilled with CAD software.
• Experience with Siemens NX (Modeling, Drafting, Sheet Metal) highly recommended.
• Experience with Teamcenter is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, ideally in an aerospace context.
• Hands-on experience with tools and equipment in a lab or manufacturing setting.
• Being part of a rocketry student team, Formula Student or similar is a strong plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (all daily activities are conducted in English).
• Self-motivated, resilient, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
