Rocket Factory Augsburg invites motivated students to join as an Intern (m/f/d) Development Engineer in a dynamic, international environment focused on aerospace engineering. You will assist in turning concepts into real designs, support in manufacturing drawings and prototyping, and participate in design reviews with diverse stakeholders.

The role requires current enrollment in a relevant engineering degree, 5–6 month availability, CAD skills, and a hands-on lab mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Available for an internship duration of at least 5–6 months.
• Skilled with CAD software.
• Experience with Siemens NX (Modeling, Drafting, Sheet Metal) highly recommended.
• Experience with Teamcenter is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, ideally in an aerospace context.
• Hands-on experience with tools and equipment in a lab or manufacturing setting.
• Being part of a rocketry student team, Formula Student or similar is a strong plus.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken (all daily activities are conducted in English).
• Self-motivated, resilient, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
