Zusammenfassung

Rocket Factory Augsburg - RFA is seeking an early‑career engineer to join our propulsion team. You will support design, build, and test rocket propulsion systems, troubleshoot development and production issues, and work with engineers to design flight hardware.

This role offers an international startup atmosphere, flexible hours, and daily collaboration with experienced propulsion engineers to grow your knowledge and skills in Europe’s New Space movement.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent oral and written English; all day‑to‑day activities in English.
• Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• Experience designing, building and testing hardware.
• Ability to work independently with a structured approach.

Aufgaben

• Provide general support to our propulsion team to design, build, and test rocket propulsion systems.
• Investigate and troubleshoot development and production issues, and implement solutions.
• Work with engineers to design flight hardware.
• Perform component and system level testing of propulsion hardware.
• Own the design and development of equipment for test facilities and engine production.
• Learn daily from a team of propulsion engineers to grow your skills.

• Learn every day from a team of experienced rocket propulsion engineers to build your knowledge and skills

Your Qualifications

• Ongoing bachelor or master's studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a similar discipline
• Familiarity with aerospace propulsion systems and related technologies
• Very strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build and test hardware
• Self-independent with a structured way of working
• Eager to take on new challenges, learn, and deliver exceptional results
• Fluent oral and written English (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
