rfa.space in Augsburg is looking for students in mechanical or aerospace engineering to support our propulsion team. You will help design, build, and test rocket propulsion systems while gaining practical experience in an international, dynamic environment.

Your Tasks

• Provide general support our propulsion team to design, build, and test rocket propulsion systems
• Investigate and troubleshoot development and production issues, and implement solutions
• Work with engineers to design flight hardware
• Perform component and system level testing of propulsion hardware
• Own the design and development of equipment for test facilities and engine production
• Learn every day from a team of experienced rocket propulsion engineers to build your knowledge and skills

Your Qualifications

• Ongoing bachelor or master’s studies in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a similar discipline
• Familiarity with aerospace propulsion systems and related technologies
• Very strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build and test hardware
• Self-independent and a structured way of working
• Eager to take on new challenges, learn, and deliver exceptional results
• Fluent oral and written English (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
