Rocket Factory Augsburg - RFA is seeking an Intern (f/m/d) Payload Accommodation Mechanical Engineer in Augsburg. You will design payload dispensers for satellites and support the Mission Management team, creating and verifying digital models while drafting in 2D. Fluent English is required for daily operations.

The role offers an international, agile team, flexible working hours, and opportunities to contribute to Europe’s New Space movement.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with mechanical CAD design.
• Knowledge of satellite design.
• Use of Siemens NX.
• Fair knowledge of structural analysis.
• Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English).

• Perform drafting and dimensioning in 2D environments
