Huawei Ohm Research Center in Nuremberg is seeking an Intern for AIDC Power Supply Resilience & Intelligent Power Systems to join the Power Conversion Technology Laboratory. You will contribute to advanced digital power research and help shape future AI-powered energy solutions.

Your mission includes researching resilience under grid disturbances, developing AI-driven prediction methods, and analyzing interactions between power architectures, grids, renewables and battery energy storage systems.

Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in a MSc or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Automation, Data Science or a related field
• Strong analytical and programming skills, preferably with Python
• Experience with machine learning, time-series forecasting, data analysis, optimization or modeling is a plus
• Interest in applying AI and data-driven technologies to real-world energy and power system challenges
• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Research AIDC power supply resilience under grid disturbances, extreme weather and other high-impact scenarios
• Develop AI and data-driven methods to predict power supply risks, critical-load availability and backup capability for AIDC
