Job summary

Investigo is representing a PE-backed manufacturing business seeking an Interim Financial Controller in Mannheim to strengthen the finance function during a growth phase. You will own financial control, statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit management, and month-end processes, ensuring robust governance across the business.

Reporting to the FD, you will partner with operational stakeholders to improve financial processes, support PE reporting, and drive value creation through tight controls

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with manufacturing/industrial exposure.
• Experience in private equity-backed environments is preferred.
• Strong SAP and financial systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare statutory accounts under IFRS/local GAAP.
• Manage corporate tax, VAT, and regulatory compliance.
• Own balance sheet integrity with reconciliations and controls.
• Lead external audits and manage advisor relationships.
• Support cash flow management, working capital, and treasury.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to improve processes.
• Support PE reporting and value creation initiatives.

A PE-backed manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Controller to strengthen its finance function during a key phase of growth and value creation.

Reporting to the FD, you will take ownership of financial control, statutory reporting, tax compliance, audit management, and month-end processes, ensuring robust governance and accurate financial reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with IFRS/local GAAP.
• Manage corporate tax, VAT, and wider regulatory compliance.
