Goodman Masson is partnering with a high-growth Aerospace/Defence company seeking a Financial Controller to join a fast-expanding team across Europe. You will report to the CFO and help shape the global controlling function.

Key duties include developing SAP CO processes, budgeting, forecasting, cost-centre accounting and programme margin analysis, plus invoicing for public bodies and government contracts.

Formación

• 3+ years in accounting/financial controller role, ideally from a group.
• Hands-on SAP experience and process improvement.
• Solid IFRS knowledge; UK GAAP a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and develop the controlling function, including cost-centre, project and cost-carrier accounting in SAP CO.
• Establish financial controlling for programmes and manufacturing, covering budgets, actuals, delivery status and future spend.
• Lead project controlling for commercial programmes and government contracts, including cost allocation, WIP and programme-level margin analysis.
• Prepare compliant invoices for public and government bodies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting across entity, consolidated and cash-flow levels, partnering with FP&A.
• Support SAP implementation, migration and CO/FI enhancement projects.
• Drive ERP process automation, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Support the finance team and external advisors in improving and operating accounting processes.
• Provide hands-on support with invoicing, bookkeeping and related finance operations.

I am currently partnering with a high-growth Aerospace/ Defence company who are looking for a Financial Controller to come and join a growing team. For this role you will be reporting into the CFO and be part of a unique journey in a fats growing market across Europe.

Your responsibilities will include;

• Build and develop the controlling function, including cost-centre, project and cost-carrier accounting in SAP CO.
• Establish financial controlling for programmes and manufacturing, covering budgets, actuals, delivery status and future spend.
• Lead project controlling for commercial programmes and government contracts, including cost allocation, WIP and programme-level margin analysis.
• Prepare compliant invoices for public and government bodies.
• Support budgeting and forecasting across entity, consolidated and cash-flow levels, partnering with FP&A.
• Support SAP implementation, migration and CO/FI enhancement projects.
• Drive ERP process automation, efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Support the finance team and external advisors in improving and operating accounting processes.
• Provide hands-on support with invoicing, bookkeeping and related finance operations.

You will need the following;

• 3+ years in a accounting/ financial controller role, ideally from a group.
• A degree in business administration, economics or a related field and an equivalent qualification (e.g. ACCA/ACA/CIMA).
• Hands-on SAP experience and process improvement.
• Solid HGB knowledge; IFRS familiarity required, UK GAAP a plus.
• You are willing to challenge the status quo and bring in best practices.
