Job summary

Ad Idem Consulting Limited is assisting our client, a growth-focused international manufacturing business, in appointing senior interim support within the Internal Controls & Sox team. The role involves leading SOX rollout, coordinating testing and remediation, and supporting ICFR compliance on a global scale.

The successful candidate will have 10-15 years in ICFR, COSO/SOX expertise (302/404) and a hands-on, ambitious approach, with flexibility on UK-based location and travel to Austria/Germany

Job description

Our client, an ambitious international PE-backed manufacturing business, is currently searching for senior, experienced interim support within their Internal Controls & Sox team. This role will suit someone ambitious and hands-on.

In this role, you will help lead the execution and roll out of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) across the business, including compliance activities, ensuring robust internal controls and adherence to both global and local requirements. You will coordinate SOX-related activities, overseeing the design and effectiveness of internal controls while driving compliance with SOX 404.

You will also be responsible for the coordination of control assessments, testing, and remediation efforts. In addition, you will work closely with the wider team to adequately support Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) and SOX compliance.

The ideal candidate will be a certified accounting professional, with 10-15 years’ in ICFR, with experience guiding control owners. You will also have expert knowledge of COSO, SEC SOX 302/404, PCAOB. Ideally, you will be able to exhibit the aforementioned experience in mid-large international, US domestic filing industrial businesses.

Day rate: Flexible commensurate with experience - Outside IR35.

Location: Flexible as to where this person is based in the UK but will require some travel to their HQ in Austria. They do also have a growing site in Munich, Germany.

6 month contract, with possible extension.
