About the Role
As an Interaction Design Engineer (m/f/d) you will be responsible for integrating localized ecosystem resources (e.g., map navigation, mobile data, gaming, music, etc.); deeply analyze differentiated functional and experiential needs in local markets, and implement them in specific vehicle models. Your insights play a pivotal role in providing expert recommendations for developing products and services tailored to local customer preferences.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for benchmarking on local intelligent network technology and the design on intelligent driving cabin and Connected Vehicle Services;
- Responsible for planning of differentiated functional experiences and application on products and planning on platformization and modularization, and simplified status management of key high-value components for European models;
- Responsible for benchmarking and partnership development of localized ecosystem resources for both mobile and cloud platforms, including charging maps, parking space availability, after-sales services, social communities, and data connectivity.
- Responsible for benchmarking and collaboration with in-vehicle ecosystem resources, covering voice assistants, language support, video streaming, music, gaming, and telecom operator integrations.
- Supports product development and specialized teams (e.g., performance validation) in acquiring localized technical benchmarking data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above, preferred majors include Product Planning, Industrial Design, Vehicle Engineering, Game Design, Web Design, or similar qualifications.
- Several years of working experience in a similar role.
- Understand the basic structure of vehicles and be familiar with the fundamental working principles of automotive electrical appliances.
- Passionate about exploring emerging trends, with deep insights into automotive usage scenarios and pain points, committed to driving innovative breakthroughs.
