Aufgaben

• Ensure proper integration of instrumentation with DCS/PLC systems.
• Assist with on-site commissioning of equipment.
• Assist with on-site commissioning of key equipment, delegating tasks to other engineers when necessary.
• Ensure all designs comply with IEC, ATEX, SIL, and other safety and industry standards.

One of our biggest clients is looking to hire at least 2 instrumentation and control engineers for their latest facility in Saxony, Germany.

The company supports major end users and EPC contractors across the oil & gas and renewable sectors, providing complex engineering solutions for industrial applications and energy transition projects. They operate internationally in the Oil & Gas, Renewable, and Hydrogen sectors.

Experience with hydrogen projects is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement instrumentation and control (I&C) systems for reciprocating compressors and electrolyzers.
• Specify sensors, transmitters, valves, and other field instrumentation based on project stage and requirements.
• Ensure proper integration of instrumentation with DCS/PLC systems used in oil & gas and renewable energy applications.
• Assist with on-site commissioning of key equipment, delegating tasks to other engineers when necessary.
• Ensure all designs comply with IEC, ATEX, SIL, and other safety and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in instrumentation and control engineering, preferably in oil & gas or renewable energy sectors.
• Proficiency in EPLAN, AutoCAD, or similar design tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and sensors.
• Fluent English; German is a bonus but not required.
