Mechanical Engineer – HVAC Design for Commercial & Industrial Projects

We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a focus on HVAC design to support our growing portfolio of commercial and industrial projects across Germany. The ideal candidate will have solid experience working within German building regulations and be comfortable communicating in both German and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and planning of HVAC systems in compliance with German standards
• Prepare technical documentation, calculations, and layout drawings for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and project teams throughout all project phases
• Participate in site inspections and ensure technical standards are met
• Support procurement and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC design, ideally in the commercial or industrial sector
• Good knowledge of applicable German building codes (e.g. DIN, VDI, GEG)
• Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar
• Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
• Team-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
