About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer / VEFK to join a multidisciplinary engineering team based near Hannover. The team, consisting of 14 engineers, is responsible for planning and executing capital projects across a specialty chemical production facility. This role focuses on electrical infrastructure projects, particularly medium voltage systems (6kV-20kV), and plays a key part in ensuring electrical safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for electrical systems within the facility.
• Fulfil VEFK responsibilities, overseeing electrical safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and manage electrical infrastructure projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
• Drive initiatives such as a €1M LED retrofit project.
• Collaborate across departments and supervise a team of 3 E&I specialists.
• Provide hands-on technical support in a live production environment.
• Act as a technical authority (not a people manager).
  
  

Candidate Profile

• Location: Ideally based near Hannover.
• Language: Fluent in German.
• Experience:
  • Strong background in industrial production environments.
  • Proven expertise in medium voltage systems (not low-voltage or automation).
  • Deep understanding of electrical regulations and theoretical frameworks.
  • VEFK certification or equivalent experience in electrical responsibility.
  • German language is necessary (B2 Level)
