GLS Germany seeks an Information Security Manager to support the Director Information Security – Corporate Functions and coordinate security activities across corporate functions, IT teams, risk owners and auditors. You will lead risk assessments, manage third-party security, and ensure remediation actions are followed up.

You should bring studies in informatics or information security and hands-on experience in risk management, governance frameworks, and ISMS processes.

Qualificações

• Experience in Information Security Risk Management, ideally multi-entity or international.
• Knowledge of security governance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, COBIT) and risk assessment methodologies.
• Certifications (CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27005, CISM) are a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with technical and business audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate information security risk assessments and risk reviews with risk owners.
• Support third-party security risk management, customer/supplier security obligations.
• Coordinate internal and external security audits and remediation actions.
• Coordinate penetration testing activities and follow-up on vulnerabilities.
• Plan security awareness activities including training and phishing campaigns.
• Support NIS2 compliance initiatives within corporate functions.
• Coordinate security incident resolution and remediation with stakeholders.
• Serve as security SME for projects in corporate function departments.
• Prepare Information Security Steering Committees for executive visibility.

As an Information Security Manager (f/m/d), you will support to the Director Information Security – Corporate Functions and coordinate information security activities for corporate functions, working closely with IT teams, risk and system owners, auditors and other relevant stakeholders.

What can you expect with us?

• Perform and coordinate information security risk assessments, including regular risk reviews and follow-up with risk owners on mitigation measures
• Support third-party security risk management, assessing customer and supplier requirements and following up on contractual security obligations
• Coordinate internal and external security audits and follow up with responsible stakeholders on findings and remediation actions
• Coordinate penetration testing activities, including engagement with penetration testers, system owners and follow-up of identified vulnerabilities
• Plan and conduct security awareness activities, including training and phishing campaigns for the assigned Group entity
• Support NIS2 compliance and related projects, helping corporate functions improve their information security maturity
• Support security incident resolution, coordinating with relevant stakeholders on remediation and follow-up
• Serve as subject matter expert on security for projects and initiatives in the corporate function departments
• Prepare Information Security Steering Committees, providing executive management with visibility on security risks, remediation progress, compliance and other relevant security topics
• Act as an information security contact point for corporate functions, supporting stakeholders in applying Group security policies, standards and processes
• Coordinate with the Group CISO organization to ensure alignment with the Group-wide ISMS and established security requirements

What do you bring to the table?

• Completed studies in business informatics, computer science, information security or comparable work experience
• A fewyears of practical experience in Information Security Risk Management, ideally in a multi-entity or international setting
• Understanding of security governance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2, COBIT) and related risk assessment methodologies
• Experience with GRC or ISRM platforms is a strong advantageKnowledge or interest in security awareness and training approaches is desirable
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISSP, ISO 27005, CISM) are a plus
• Motivation to drive improvements and foster a proactive security mindset across stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with both technical and business audiences
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written); German is an advantage
