Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) in Germany seeks an Industrial Systems & Manufacturing Engineering Representative to join on-site teams, supporting strategic Airbus projects in Germany, including Finkenwerder and other sites across the country.

The role defines and maintains IS/ME standards, manages supplier development and onboarding, and guides cost-reduction, NPI and transfer initiatives within the Procurement MFT. German and English skills are mandatory for this position.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in technical documentation / work preparation / contract management.
• Proficiency in English (B2/C1) and German (B1/B2) is mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Define and maintain Industrial Systems (IS) and Manufacturing Standards across all programs to support business strategy.
• Manage IS and Manufacturing Engineering (ME) requirements for supplier development and supplier onboarding.
• Support supplier selection by assessing industrial capabilities during the Call for Tender (CFT) phase.
• Provide ME expertise for cost reduction, work transfers, NPI and delivery challenges.
• Lead and coordinate industrialization, cost-saving initiatives and work transfer projects within the Procurement MFT.
• Escalate critical IS/ME operational issues and technical risks to the MFT.
• Drive process improvement and external process optimization initiatives.

What You Will Do

What We’re Looking For
