Job summary

InSeCoTec in Dresden is seeking an Industrial Plant Project Manager (m/f/d) to lead multiple installation projects for automated transport and storage systems in cleanrooms. You will guide teams, ensure timing, quality and budget adherence, and coordinate with clients and executives.

You bring a technical degree, several years in project management (ideally in semiconductors), strong leadership and communication skills, and fluency in German (C1) and English (B2).

• Completed technical training or a technical degree (e.g., mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering).
• Several years of professional experience in project management—ideally in the semiconductor industry.
• Proven leadership skills and experience coordinating external project partners.
• Structured, solution-oriented, customer-focused approach.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a confident and reliable demeanor.
• Very good German (C1) and English (B2) language skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Management and overall responsibility for multiple installation projects involving automated transport and storage systems in cleanrooms, ensuring deadlines, quality, and budget.
• Strategic project planning and resource management, coordinating personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborating with junior project managers, site managers, and supervisors for planning and monitoring customer projects.
• Ensuring high quality and safety, implementing quality control and continuous improvement.
• Serving as central contact for clients, management, and executives from requirements analysis to implementation.
• Developing and implementing overarching project strategies.
• Identifying, assessing, and minimizing project risks and reporting to stakeholders.
• Developing installation staff through training, coaching, and mentoring.

• Management and overall responsibility for multiple installation projects involving automated transport and storage systems in cleanrooms,
  including ensuring implementation meets deadlines, quality standards, and budget, as well as providing technical and disciplinary leadership to multiple installation teams
• Strategic project planning and resource management, including the coordination of personnel, materials, and equipment
• Close collaboration with junior project managers, site managers, and supervisors in the operational planning, management, and monitoring of customer projects
• Ensuring the highest quality and safety standards, as well as implementing quality control measures and continuous process improvement
• Serving as the central point of contact for clients, management, and executive leadership—from requirements analysis through project management to successful implementation
• Developing and implementing overarching project strategies
• Identifying, assessing, and minimizing project risks, including reporting to management and stakeholders
• Continuously developing the installation staff through training, coaching, and mentoring

Your Profile
