The PAC Group is seeking an Installation Manager to lead mechanical assembly operations across European sites. You will oversee diverse teams of technicians, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of projects.

This full-time contractor role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication in German and English, and the ability to travel up to 80-100% to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in assembly supervision or related project management roles.
• Mechanical aptitude is required; electrical knowledge preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret and execute technical documentation.
• Strong communication and organization skills in German and English.

Responsabilités

• Lead the execution of mechanized automation equipment installation, commissioning and training support.
• Monitor daily and weekly execution targets to ensure schedule adherence.
• Supervise teams of mechanical, electrical and control technicians during decommissioning, installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Drive production efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Perform routine quality checks and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance.
• Provide clear direction and training to ensure teams follow work instructions.
• Prepare status reports for client and PAC leadership; contribute to lessons learned.

Position Overview

Are you an experienced leader with a background with a mechanical and electrical aptitude, like to get their hands dirty, and ready to take on a pivotal role in an exciting, large-scale project? We are seeking a Project Supervisor to execute critical mechanical assembly operations with the help of a team of technicians. In this dynamic role, you will manage diverse teams, install equipment, ensure quality compliance, and play a key part in achieving ambitious production goals. Effective project control, monitoring and reporting are fundamental to being successful in the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of mechanized automation equipment, including receiving, inspecting, installing, commissioning and training support.
• Monitor and ensuring daily and weekly execution targets are being met
• Work with and supervise teams of mechanical, electrical and control technicians, as you decommission, install and commission automation equipment.
• Drive production efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Conduct routine quality control checks to ensure client specifications and expectations are met.
• Quickly address and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions as needed to maintain compliance.
• Provide clear direction, training, and support to ensure team members follow predefined work instructions.
• Foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment that motivates the teams to excel.
• Provide work status reports as required by the client and PAC leadership.
• Complete project closure reporting and lessons learned documentation.
• Work to drive continuous improvement through training and work instruction updating.

Qualifications And Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or trade certification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Equivalent hands-on experience in assembly or project management roles will also be considered.
• 3+ years of experience in assembly supervision or related project management roles.
• Mechanical aptitude is required, with electrical knowledge strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams, manage multiple priorities, and ensure timely project execution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (German, English speaking)
• Ability to read, interpret and execute technical documentation
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and best operational practices.
• Experience in equipment assembly or construction environments
• Previous involvement in high-volume production settings with a focus on precision and efficiency.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 22kg
• Capable of working at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions
• May require work during off-hours, weekends, or holidays
• Able to travel 80-100%, as project assignment requires

The salary range for this position is dependent upon experience, education, and qualifications.

Pay Range: €90.000 EUR - €102.000 EUR
