Job summary

InSeCoTec in Dresden seeks a Mechanical Team Leader (m/f/d) to oversee installation of automatic transport systems for manufacturing automation in the semiconductor industry. You will lead a small team, schedule activities, and ensure high-quality assembly in cleanroom-like conditions.

You bring vocational training as an industrial mechanic or mechatronics technician and experience installing mechanical plant components.

Qualifications

• Vocational training in industrial mechanics or mechatronics is required.
• Experience installing mechanical plant components.
• Ability to lead and develop a small team.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Fluent German and English.
• Willingness to travel within Europe.

Your Responsibilities

• Setup and commissioning of transport systems for manufacturing automation in the semiconductor industry
• Mechanical assembly of subassemblies and system components according to drawings under cleanroom conditions
• Documenting the work steps performed
• Active communication and close collaboration with internal stakeholders, e.g., project management
• Active involvement in defining, implementing, and executing workflows
• Providing technical leadership to a team and training new employees

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, plant engineer, construction mechanic, automotive mechatronics technician, or comparable; alternatively, qualified advanced training, e.g., master craftsman, technician
• Professional experience in the installation of mechanical plant components
• Ability to lead and develop a small team in a cooperative and motivating manner
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in German and English
• Team-oriented, solution-oriented, service-oriented, and customer-focused approach to work
• Communication skills and the ability to serve as a role model
• A structured and precise approach to work
• Willingness to travel within Europe on occasion—preferred
