Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking an HSE Manager Transport & Logistics to lead the integration of logistics within the HSE framework across the Central region. You will ensure safe, compliant logistics from port to project site while collaborating with service providers and internal teams.

The role requires a Safety Specialist or similar HSE certification, 3+ years in logistics, and strong German/English communication. Expect extensive travel and a dynamic, international work environment.

Qualifications

• Qualification as Safety Specialist or comparable HSE certification.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in logistics/transportation.
• Solid knowledge of road transportation and inland waterways.
• Experience with logistics operations in seaports is an advantage.
• Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with a structured, self-driven approach.
• Willing to travel extensively, approx. 75% within Germany.

As HSE Manager Transport & Logistics (m/f/d), you will be responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards across the entire transportation chain of our wind turbines within the Central region. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, logistics service providers, and external partners to ensure safe and compliant logistics operations from port to project site.

YOUR TASKS

• You drive the strategic and operational integration of the logistics function into the existing HSE organization
• You adapt and further develop HSE processes for logistics and transportation in line with regional requirements
• You collaborate closely with internal HSE teams and relevant business functions
• You ensure compliance with HSE requirements by logistics service providers, port operators, and transportation partners
• You support incident investigations and derive appropriate corrective and preventive actions
• You record incidents in the HSE management system and follow up on action plans through to completion
• You represent HSE matters in internal and external meetings with customers, service providers, and regulatory authorities

YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a qualification as a Safety Specialist or a comparable HSE certification
• You have at least three years of professional experience in logistics, transportation, or a related environment
• You bring solid knowledge of road transportation and inland waterway shipping
• Experience with logistics operations in seaports is considered an advantage
• You possess excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
• You demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills, combined with a structured and self-driven way of working
• You enjoy being on the move and are willing to travel extensively, with approximately 75% travel within Germany
