Job summary

HyImpulse in Neuenstadt, Baden-Württemberg, seeks an experienced HR Generalist to support a designated business area across the employee lifecycle. You will lead end-to-end recruitment, manage contracts and onboarding, and advise leaders on personnel matters and employment law.

Fluent German and English are required. The role offers a mix of onsite and remote work, with emphasis on process optimization, digital HR solutions, and active participation in employer branding initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or comparable field; or commercial apprenticeship with HR qualification and 3+ years generalist HR experience.
• Experience in recruiting and candidate management, including interviews and hiring support.
• Ideally experience with active sourcing on platforms like LinkedIn/XING.
• Solid knowledge of German employment and social security law; payroll tax regulations a plus.
• Fluent German and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Independently support a designated business area in all HR matters across the employee lifecycle.

• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

• Analyze and optimize HR processes with a focus on digitalization and efficiency.
• Support employer branding and contribute to attraction/retention initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional HR projects and implement strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently support a designated business area within the company in all HR-related matters throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
• Serve as the primary point of contact for leaders and employees within the assigned business area on all operational HR topics, providing guidance on individual personnel matters and employment law issues
• Take ownership of the full recruitment cycle (end-to-end recruiting), including candidate management, job posting creation, conducting interviews (including in English), and supporting hiring decisions
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process
• Prepare and manage employment contracts, contract amendments, employment references, certificates, and other HR-related documentation
• Plan, organize, and coordinate a professional onboarding process for new employees
• Analyze, optimize, and continuously improve HR processes with a focus on digitalization and operational efficiency
• Support the development of the employer brand and actively contribute to employee attraction and retention initiatives
• Participate in cross-functional HR projects and support the implementation of strategic HR initiatives

Basic Qualification

• Successfully completed degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a comparable field; alternatively, a completed commercial apprenticeship with a relevant HR qualification-A minimum of three years of professional experience in a generalist HR role with independent responsibility is mandatory
• Proven experience in recruiting and candidate management, including independently conducting interviews and supporting hiring processes
• Ideally, experience in active sourcing through platforms such as LinkedIn, XING, or comparable professional networks
• Solid knowledge of German employment law, social security law, and ideally payroll tax regulations
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style with a strong attention to detail and quality
• Excellent communication and consulting skills, with the confidence to interact effectively with employees and managers at all levels
• High level of discretion, reliability, and professionalism in handling confidential information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with HR systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is an advantage
