Job summary

HyImpulse in Neuenstadt, Baden-Württemberg, seeks an experienced System Design Team lead to steer technical direction and coordinate system-level development for space projects. You will drive architecture, integration, and risk management with a hands-on leadership style.

You will mentor engineers, perform design reviews, and ensure robust verification and validation processes. German and English fluency is required, with strong stakeholder collaboration across internal and external partners.

Basic Qualification

• Degree in a technical field (e.g. Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering)
• Several years of experience in systems engineering and in leading technical teams
• In-depth knowledge of system architecture, integration, verification and validation
• Experience in managing complex development projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Very good written and spoken German and English
• Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style
