Intellectual Capital Resources Ltd invites applications for Head of Nanofabrication Manufacturing to lead the development and scale-up of implantable micro-electrode technology for brain-computer interfaces. You will build and guide a microfabrication team, design advanced electrode arrays, and oversee cleanroom production from prototype to scalable processes.

Responsabilidades

• Build and lead a high-performing microfabrication/manufacturing team.
• Design next-generation multi-channel electrode arrays, including layouts, materials, geometries and fabrication processes.
• Lead cleanroom manufacturing using techniques such as thin-film processing, photolithography, sputtering, etching/RIE and wet chemistry.
• Select and assess materials for long-term biocompatibility, stability and signal quality.
• Scale manufacturing from prototype development to reproducible, production-ready processes.

Our exciting new client is currently searching for a Head of Nanofabrication Manufacturing to lead the development and scale-up of implantable micro-electrode technology for next-generation brain-computer interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing microfabrication/manufacturing team
• Design next-generation multi-channel electrode arrays, including layouts, materials, geometries and fabrication processes
• Lead cleanroom manufacturing using techniques such as thin-film processing, photolithography, sputtering, etching/RIE and wet chemistry
• Select and assess materials for long-term biocompatibility, stability and signal quality
• Scale manufacturing from prototype development to reproducible, production-ready processes

Ideal candidate

• Proven leadership/team-building experience

• Knowledge of MEMS devices and processes
• Understanding of how materials and fabrication affect biocompatibility and neural signal quality
• Entrepreneurial, hands-on and comfortable taking projects from R&D through to scalable manufacturing
• Degree/PhD in neuroengineering, microsystems, electrical engineering, physics, biomedical engineering or a related field
