Deutsche Aircraft GmbH in Bavaria is seeking a seasoned leader to head Material Sales, Order Administration, and Inventory Management within our Customer Support & Services organization. You will define and execute the Material Support strategy and drive workforce planning, capability development, and organizational effectiveness.

As primary commercial interface for spare parts, you will manage quotations, orders, pricing, and contracts, while building strong relationships with operators,

Qualifications

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or comparable.
• Minimum of 10 years aerospace industry experience with leadership responsibility.
• Proven leadership of a Material Support organization within the aerospace industry, ideally for an aircraft OEM.
• Strong leadership capabilities and knowledge of modern management methods.
• English and German proficiency (written and spoken).
• Experience with web-based Material Support and Spares services is desirable.

• Support retention and revenue growth through reliable material support services.

• Ensure efficient and timely execution of spare parts sales activities, from quotation and order processing through fulfillment and invoicing.
• Support customer retention and revenue growth through responsive and reliable material support services.

Operational Excellence & Inventory Management

• Ensure effective material planning, stock provisioning, forecasting, reliability, and inventory optimization.
• Own and continuously improve end-to-end order administration processes for spare parts, repairs, exchanges, and customer support programs.
• Monitor and drive performance through relevant KPIs, including quotation turnaround times, order processing efficiency, revenue realization, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across Material Support operations.
• Ensure compliance with commercial policies, contractual obligations, export control requirements, and company procedures.

You’ll bring this with you:

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or a comparable discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant aerospace industry experience, including proven leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in leading a Material Support organization within the aerospace industry, ideally for an aircraft OEM.
• Strong leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of modern management methods and organizational development.
• Professional proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Experience in developing and managing web-based Material Support and Spares services is desirable.
• Strong IT skills and practical experience with SAP (ideally S/4HANA) and common Microsoft Office applications
