Leadership, People & Organization Development

• Lead, develop, and inspire the Material Sales, Order Administration, and Material Planning & Inventory Management teams.
• Define and execute the Material Support strategy in alignment with the Customer Support & Services objectives.
• Drive workforce planning, capability development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Promote employee engagement, performance management, coaching, and professional development.

Material Sales & Customer Support Management

• Lead and further develop all Material Sales and Order Administration activities to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary commercial interface for customers regarding spare parts sales, pricing, order status, and contractual matters.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with operators, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure efficient and timely execution of spare parts sales activities, from quotation and order processing through fulfillment and invoicing.
• Support customer retention and revenue growth through responsive and reliable material support services.

Operational Excellence & Inventory Management

• Ensure effective material planning, stock provisioning, forecasting, reliability, and inventory optimization.
• Own and continuously improve end-to-end order administration processes for spare parts, repairs, exchanges, and customer support programs.
• Monitor and drive performance through relevant KPIs, including quotation turnaround times, order processing efficiency, revenue realization, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives across Material Support operations.
• Ensure compliance with commercial policies, contractual obligations, export control requirements, and company procedures.

You’ll bring this with you:

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Natural Sciences, or a comparable discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant aerospace industry experience, including proven leadership responsibility.
• Demonstrated success in leading a Material Support organization within the aerospace industry, ideally for an aircraft OEM.
• Strong leadership capabilities and solid knowledge of modern management methods and organizational development.
• Professional proficiency in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Experience in developing and managing web-based Material Support and Spares services is desirable.
• Strong IT skills and practical experience with SAP (ideally S/4HANA) and common Microsoft Office applications
