Job summary

Bargosearch in Berlin is seeking a Head of Group Tax to take ownership of tax strategy across international markets. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, reporting to senior management and coordinating with Finance, Legal and Accounting teams.

You will oversee international corporate tax and transfer pricing, develop TP policies, ensure compliance and year-end tax processes, and build strong relationships with external advisors and authorities.

Qualifications

• Strong background in corporate/international tax, preferably within Europe.
• Excellent knowledge of transfer pricing.
• Experience in an international group environment.
• Balance strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.
• Familiar with tax compliance, reporting and governance.

I am partnering with an international, listed technology group to hire a Head of Group Tax based in Berlin. The business operates across multiple international markets, with a particularly strong European footprint.

This is a broad, hands‑on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of Group Tax while remaining close to the operational side of the business.

Your Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the Group's tax function and overall tax strategy
• Manage international corporate tax and transfer pricing topics
• Develop and maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation across multiple jurisdictions
• Oversee tax compliance, reporting and tax-related aspects of the year-end process

Your Profile

• Strong background in corporate/international tax, ideally gained within a European jurisdiction
• Excellent knowledge of transfer pricing
• Experience working in an international Group environment
• Comfortable combining strategic responsibility with a hands‑on approach
• Good understanding of tax compliance, reporting & tax governance
• Experience within a listed or complex multinational organisation is advantageous
