DöhlerGroup is seeking a seasoned Project Engineer to lead global engineering initiatives, shaping site master plans and driving CAPEX efficiency. You will work with cross-functional teams across international plants to standardize processes and implement best practices in automation and energy use.

The role requires extensive experience in process plant engineering, leadership, and fluency in English and German.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in process engineering, production engineering, food technology, or related technical field.
• Several years of engineering experience in food and/or beverage industry.
• Extensive experience in basic and detailed engineering for process plant engineering.
• Knowledge of food production technology and digital production tools.
• Proven project management skills on large-scale projects.
• Several years of leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Languages: English and German.

Aufgaben

• Lead global engineering projects from development to implementation across Döhler sites.
• Set global site master plan standards and coordinate plant-specific master plans.
• Develop the global CAPEX plan and manage CAPEX budgets with global finance.
• Drive improvements in automation and energy efficiency.
• Share best practices across production sites and identify efficient technologies.
• Establish global standards considering technical, product, and regulatory needs.
• Collaborate with R&D and Sourcing to develop equipment and supplier standards.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align maintenance strategies.
• Coordinate global Subject Matter Expert network and ensure project governance.
• Guide Döhler’s production sites worldwide with continuous process improvements.

Your Role

• You are responsible for our Project engineering on global level and lead global engineering projects from the development of technical solutions to their implementation across our sites
• You are responsible for the global standard for site master plans and coordinate the specific master plan for each plant in collaboration with regional engineering teams
• You develop the global CAPEX plan and manage the global CAPEX budget together with counterparts from the global finance organization
• You drive improvements and standardization in the field of automation and energy efficiency
• Together with your team, you gather best practices regarding technical processes at our global production sites and identify opportunities to implement the most efficient technologies worldwide
• You establish global standards while taking into account specific technical, product-related, and regulatory requirements.
• In collaboration with colleagues from R&D and Sourcing, you and your team develop global standards for equipment and suppliers.
• You work closely with cross-functional teams—including Production, Engineering, Sourcing, and Finance—to ensure alignment and effective communication regarding maintenance strategies
• Working with an international team, you focus on the continuous improvement of our processes and provide guidance to Döhler’s production sites worldwide.
• You coordinate our global Subject Matter Expert network together with your team
• You ensure consistent project governance

Your Profile

• You have a degree in process engineering, production engineering, food technology, or a related technical field
• You have several years of engineering experience in the food and/or beverage industry
• You possess extensive experience in basic and detailed engineering for process plant engineering
• You have comprehensive knowledge of food production technology and digital production tools
• You have demonstrated your project management skills through large-scale projects
• You have several years of leadership experience
• You are able to quickly comprehend complex matters and possess a strong conceptual and analytical approach to work
• You are characterized by a solution-oriented mindset and a hands-on mentality
• Your working languages are English and German
