Job summary

Fressnapf Tiernahrungs GmbH in Krefeld sucht eine leitende Persönlichkeit zur globalen Entwicklung des Non-Food-Kategorienportfolios. Sie tragen Verantwortung für Wachstum, Rentabilität und Wettbewerbsposition und arbeiten eng mit internationalen Teams zusammen.

Sie definieren Strategien, treiben Innovation, Sortiment-Optimierung und Leistung voran und führen ein globales Category-Management-Team. Flexible Arbeitsmodelle unterstützen die Umsetzung von Ideen.

Qualifications

• Universitätsabschluss in Betriebswirtschaft oder vergleichbar.
• 8–10 Jahre relevante Erfahrung in Category Management, Buying oder Commercial Management.
• Mehrjährige Führungsverantwortung gegenüber Senior Professionals.
• Starke strategische, kommerzielle und analytische Fähigkeiten.
• Ausgezeichnetes Stakeholder-Management in internationalem Umfeld.
• Sehr gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse; weitere europäische Sprachen von Vorteil.

Responsibilities

• Leite die globale strategische und kommerzielle Entwicklung des Non-Food-Kategorienportfolios.
• Definiere und implementiere globale Kategorienstrategie, basierend auf Kundennachfragen, Markttrends und Performance.
• Fördere Innovation, Sortimentoptimierung und kommerzielle Performance mit Fokus auf Relevanz und SKU-Produktivität.
• Sorge für eine starke End-to-End-Ausführung über Category Management, Brand Management, Produktentwicklung, Supply Chain, Finanzen und lokale Märkte.
• Baue und leite ein leistungsstarkes Global Category Management Team mit klarer Ownership.

• Lead the global strategic and commercial development of the Non-Food category portfolio, with responsibility for growth, profitability and competitive positioning
• Define and execute the global category strategy, translating customer needs, market trends and business performance into clear assortment and portfolio priorities
• Drive innovation, assortment optimization and commercial performance, with a strong focus on customer relevance, SKU productivity and Exclusive Brand development
• Ensure strong end-to-end execution across Category Management, Brand Management, Product Development, Asia, Supply Chain, Finance, Quality Management and local markets
• Build and lead a high-performing Global Category Management team with clear ownership, strong ways of working and a culture of accountability

Das bringst du mit

• University degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Marketing, Economics or a comparable field
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in Category Management, Buying or Commercial Management, ideally in retail or consumer goods
• Several years of leadership experience and a proven ability to lead and develop senior professionals
• Strong strategic, commercial and analytical capabilities, combined with a hands‑on execution mindset
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in an international and cross‑functional environment
• Very good English and German skills; additional European languages are an advantage
