Zusammenfassung

Fressnapf Deutschland sucht eine erfahrene Führungskraft im Category Management, um die strategische Ausrichtung der Warengruppe zu definieren und ein mehrjähriges Roadmap-Programm zu steuern. Sie arbeiten funktionsübergreifend mit Beschaffung, Marken und Supply Chain zusammen, um Umsatz und Sortimentsqualität über Ländergrenzen hinweg zu sichern.

Sie verfügen über umfangreiche Erfahrungen in category development und kommerzieller Strategie in einem mehrmarkigen, internationalen Umfeld, und

Qualifikationen

• Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in BWL oder vergleichbar.
• Umfangreiche Erfahrungen im Category Management oder kommerzieller Strategie über mehrere Länder hinweg.
• Analytische und konzeptionelle Fähigkeiten, schnelle Umsetzung skalierbarer Modelle.

Aufgaben

• Definiere die strategische Rolle und langfristige Ambition der Kategorie mit einer klaren mehrjährigen Roadmap.
• Gestalte Architektur der Kategorie für konsistente Sortimentslogik, Preisstruktur und Navigation über Kanäle.
• Entwickle skalierbare Category-Blueprints und Standards für roll-out in mehreren Ländern.
• Unterstütze Märkte durch strukturierte Frameworks, Guidance und Implementierungsunterstützung.
• Überwache regelmäßig kommerzielle Kennzahlen und leite daraus konkrete Verbesserungen ab.
• Arbeite eng mit Beschaffung, Marken, Kundschaft, Supply Chain und Länderteams zusammen.
• Stärke die Kategorieleistung durch ausgewogene Produktmischung und Up-/Cross-Sell-Potenziale.
• Teste neue Ansätze, bewerte Auswirkungen und skaliere bewährte Konzepte schnell an.

• You act as a senior category expert, working closely with Procurement, (Exclusive) Brand, Customer, Supply Chain, and country teams to secure strong cross‑functional alignment.
• You strengthen category performance by ensuring a balanced product mix, improving SKU productivity, and creating opportunities for cross‑sell and trade‑up.
• You drive continuous improvement by testing new approaches, evaluating impact, and scaling proven concepts quickly and effectively.

Das bringst du mit

• You hold a university degree in Business Economics or a related discipline.
• With extensive experience in category management, category development, or commercial strategy across multi‑country retail environments, you bring deep functional expertise.
• You combine strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to turn insights into scalable commercial models and actionable category frameworks.
• Having worked across markets before, you know how to drive structured implementation, build alignment, and secure adoption
• You excel in stakeholder management and can influence cross‑functional partners at different levels of the organization.
• You communicate fluently in English; additional European languages are a plus.
