Freudenberg Performance Materials Holding GmbH in Weinheim, Germany, seeks a Head of Financial Reporting & Analysis. You will lead monthly reporting, forecast accuracy, and strategic planning for a globally active business group, partnering with senior leaders to drive modernization across processes and systems.

You will manage transformation projects, improve data quality, and translate complex financial topics for executive decision-making while aligning divisions and corporate functions.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in business, economics or finance, or an equivalent field.
• 8+ years of experience in group controlling or financial reporting in an international industrial environment.
• Proven leadership across functional and disciplinary teams.
• Experience with management consulting, Big 4, or multinational manufacturing groups is a plus.
• Fluency in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Strong systems proficiency including SAP and automated data flows.

Responsibilities

• Reporting & Forecasting: Lead the monthly management reporting and forecasting process, delivering transparency on key business drivers, ensuring high data quality and providing clear presentations for top management.
• Analysis: Manage in-depth and ad-hoc analyses of business performance, delivering decision-ready insights to support our operational and strategic goals.
• Planning: Drive the operative and strategic planning process across the group to shape the future direction and development of the business group.
• Business Partnering: Closely cooperate with the Board of Management, senior management of divisions, and corporate functions by providing financial expertise. Act as the primary point of contact for the Freudenberg Group for all Controlling related topics.
• Transformation & Project management: Contribute to key projects aiming at developing the business group (e.g. PMI).
• Optimization: Continuously improve Controlling processes, tools and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy in business analysis.

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable field.
• Experience: 8+ years in group controlling or financial reporting within an international industrial environment.
• Leadership Skills: Experience in leading teams both functionally and disciplinary
• Nice to have: Background in management consulting, Big 4 firm and/or controlling within a multinational manufacturing group.
• Strong Systems Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Management Information Systems (e.g. HFM).
• Language: Fluency in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Executive Communication: You translate complex financial topics into clear, concise messages that senior leaders can act on.
• Structured Problem Solving: You break down ambiguity, prioritize what matters, and drive decisions.
• Commitment & Drive: You demonstrate a strong commitment and a consistent drive to perform, taking ownership, going the extra mile when needed, and delivering high-quality results under pressure.
• Stakeholder Management: You align diverse perspectives across divisions and functions, challenge constructively, and build trust through reliability.
• Systems & Automation Mindset: You continuously look for ways to simplify, automate and improve data flows to increase speed and quality.
