Job summary

Scalable Capital is expanding its Data Tribe leadership in Munich to drive data-driven business value across engineering and product teams. You will mentor team leads, coordinate data governance, and ensure privacy compliance while supporting ICT operations and analytics.

The role emphasizes data science excellence, ML model expertise, and a strategic approach to data management in a fast-growing FinTech environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Science, Mathematics or similar field.
• Excellent knowledge in data science & machine learning models.
• Excellent knowledge in data-driven business applications.
• Several years of data project management experience.
• Several years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify potentials throughout the company to create data-driven business value.
• Ensure compliance of the Data Tribe’s activities with engineering guidelines.
• Work out data management & data governance guidelines.
• Consulting on data-driven way of working in the Data Tribe and beyond.
• Leading the Data Tribe and be a mentor and coach for the corresponding Team Leads.
• Be the Data Protection Coordinator for the Engineering Department.
• As part of the Data team, manages data infrastructure and analytics, ensuring data governance, integrity and supporting ICT operations.
