Responsibilities
- Lead Global Tendering for Erection, Installation and Commissioning for High Voltage transmission, FACTS and storage projects: Define and execute tendering strategies for Erection & Commissioning projects, ensuring competitive and compliant bids.
- Manage Bid Process: Oversee preparation and submission of tenders, including cost calculations, risk and opportunity assessments, and contractual compliance for the erection and commissioning scope.
- Customer Requirements: Analyze specifications and develop tailored solutions that meet technical and commercial expectations, whilst remaining competitive.
- Develop references: Develop and maintain reference projects including relevant documentation and SE standards to ensure and sustain competitive and modular bids.
- Negotiate Contracts: Drive negotiations with customers and partners to secure favorable terms.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and EHS teams to ensure integrated tender deliverables.
- Champion Digitalization & Zero Harm: Apply Siemens Energy digital tools and uphold EHS standards throughout the tendering process. Ensure tenders account for efficient digital solutions.
- Develop Talent: Build and lead a high-performing global tendering team, fostering diversity, agility, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tendering and bid management for large-scale erection and commissioning projects in the energy sector.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with Siemens Energy standards, including Zero Harm and digitalized processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
- Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Strategic thinker with strong decision‑making skills.
- Effective communicator and influencer in a global, matrix organization.
- Passionate about driving operational excellence and innovation.
