The Hoxton Hamburg, part of the Ennismore family, is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead and elevate the housekeeping team in our new Hamburg property. You will ensure spotless rooms and public areas, manage costs, and drive standards in collaboration with other departments.

We value hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Prior housekeeping leadership and hotel-opening experience are highly regarded as we grow together as a Hoxton family.

Competenze

• Previous housekeeping experience at a similar level is required or highly beneficial.
• Experience with hotel openings is a plus and demonstrates adaptability.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and manage a team.

The Hoxton’s second hotel in Germany is set to open in Hamburg, a city of stunning architecture criss-crossed by hundreds of canals and home to parks, cultural venues and a bustling gastronomic scene. Set as part of the exciting Alter Wall redevelopment project, The Hoxton, Hamburg will feature 188 bedrooms of varying sizes, a large lobby bar and ground floor restaurant, a beautiful rooftop restaurant and The Apartment - The Hoxton’s signature meeting and event space.

We are looking for a Head Housekeeperto join our team at The Hoxton,Hamburg.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

• Take the lead in ensuring our guests experience spotless and well put together rooms that they want to come back to.
• Lead and inspire the housekeeping team by example, creating an environment where they can be themselves, feel supported and empowered and get actively involved in the team’s development to realise their full potential, so we grow together as a Hoxton family.
• Management of departmental costs and ensure that all expenses are kept in line with budget guidelines, managing and control housekeeping stock and monitor orders.
• Take responsibility in keeping our standards for bedrooms and public areas high, through SOPs, relevant training and regular checks.
• Work closely with other teams (front office, maintenance and F&B) towards the overall goal of creating a memorable experience in a beautiful space.
• Play a part in our partnership with our external housekeeping providers.
• Ensure that all hotel standard operating procedures are trained and adhered to.
• Pro-actively identify opportunities to improve and enhance processes and procedures.
• Be fully aware, and competent in, all health and safety procedures and policies.
• Control and management of the housekeeping stock, ensuring all orders are monitored.
• Achieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service to both external and internal customers, forging long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors.
