Kappa optronics GmbH in Germany is seeking an Electronics Hardware Engineer (all genders) with a focus on signal integrity, EMI & analog/digital design to develop advanced electronic systems.

You will design circuits, PCB layouts with Altium, Cadence, KiCad, run high-speed interface analyses, and ensure EMC compliance while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Completed master’s degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or a comparable field.
• Solid knowledge in analog and digital circuit technology as well as PCB design.
• Experience in the development of electronic assemblies with a focus on signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC-compliant design.
• Proficiency in using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes and vector network analyzers.
• Good knowledge in analyzing and optimizing high-speed interfaces as well as analog circuits.
• Practical experience with EDA software (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence, KiCad, or similar).
• Experience with simulation tools for circuit, EMC, signal, or RF analysis is an advantage.
• Structured, independent working style as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German skills are an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Development and optimization of analog and digital circuits for advanced electronic systems, considering signal integrity, EMC, safety, and manufacturing requirements.
• Creation of circuit diagrams and PCB layouts using modern EDA tools (e.g., Altium Designer)
• Design and analysis of high-speed interfaces as well as conducting signal and power integrity evaluations
• Development and optimization of EMC-compliant designs to ensure electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/EMC)
• Conducting analog, thermal, and RF simulations to secure the development process
• Selection and qualification of electronic components in close coordination with procurement, production, and suppliers
• Conducting design reviews and supporting verification, commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation of prototypes
• Documentation of development activities and maintenance of development records and bills of materials (BOM)

Electronics Hardware Engineer (all genders) Signal Integrity, EMI & Analog Design

Your Responsibilities:

• Development and optimization of analog and digital circuits for advanced electronic systems, considering signal integrity, EMC, safety, and manufacturing requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing and quality standards IPC-A-600 and IPC-A-610
