We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to take a leading role in the design, development, and validation of advanced electronic systems, with a particular emphasis on integrated power supply solutions. The Circuit and Power Supply Engineer will contribute to high‑level R&D activities by designing robust electronic architectures, developing complex PCB designs, and delivering reliable and efficient power electronics solutions for demanding applications.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership of the technical aspects of electronic system designs, from the initial concept through to detailed design, prototyping and validation
- Lead the design and development of integrated power supplies, including AC/DC and DC/DC converter solutions
- Create electronic architectures and schematics for complex analogue, digital and mixed-signal systems
- Design multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs), including component placement, routing, and optimising the layout for power, signal integrity, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
- Select and evaluate electronic components, considering performance, reliability, thermal behaviour and lifecycle
- Conduct design reviews, schematic checks and PCB layout reviews to ensure the highest design quality
- Provide support for bringing up prototypes, debugging and validating at board and system level
- Work closely with mechanical, firmware and systems engineers to facilitate integrated product development
- Define and carry out electrical tests, measurements and qualification procedures
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety, EMC and reliability standards
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, design reports and test summaries
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practice in electronic and PCB design
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Degree inElectrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field
- Previous professional experience in a similar role
- Extensive experience in electronic circuit design and development
- Strong expertise inPCB design, including multilayer boards and power electronics layouts
- Proven experience in the design ofintegrated power suppliesand power management circuits
- Good understanding ofanalogand digital electronics, signal integrity, and EMC considerations
- Hands‑on experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, KiCad, or equivalent
- Experience with laboratory debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logicanalyzers, and poweranalysers
- Passion for research and innovation, and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a plus
