Job summary
Us3 Consulting is seeking a senior Guidewire Solution / Enterprise Architect in Germany to shape strategic insurance technology transformations. The role combines hands-on architecture with senior stakeholder engagement across delivery teams and client leadership.
You will own end-to-end solution architecture for Guidewire platforms (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter), drive cloud migrations, define integration patterns, and set governance standards within complex multi-country projects.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Guidewire Architect, Enterprise Architect or Lead Technical Architect.
- Deep technical and architectural knowledge of Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Relevant, current Guidewire certifications.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale Guidewire implementations in Property & Casualty insurance.
- Experience leading enterprise architecture or solution design across complex insurance technology environments.
- Strong understanding of Guidewire platform architecture, configuration, integration frameworks and deployment models.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud, including cloud migration, modernisation or SaaS transformation initiatives.
- Expertise in enterprise integration patterns, REST APIs, event-driven architecture and middleware technologies.
- Understanding of data architecture, migration strategies and integration with legacy insurance platforms.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies, application security, scalability and resilience.
- Experience working with international delivery teams and external partners.

Responsibilities
- Define and lead the end-to-end solution architecture for complex Guidewire implementation and transformation programmes.
- Establish target-state enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with business strategy and governance.
- Provide architectural leadership across Guidewire ClaimCenter, with exposure to PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.
- Design scalable, secure and resilient solutions for core insurance operations.
- Lead architectural planning for greenfield Guidewire implementations and cloud migrations.
- Define integration strategies connecting Guidewire with policy, claims, finance and third-party platforms.
- Establish architectural standards covering APIs, microservices, data integration, cloud and security.
- Evaluate existing landscapes for consolidation, automation and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with delivery teams, SI partners and vendors to ensure architectural consistency.
- Chair technical design workshops, architecture reviews and governance discussions.
- Provide technical oversight through implementation, testing and production transition.
- Identify risks and dependencies and propose practical solutions.

This is a senior, client-facing opportunity for an architect who combines deep Guidewire expertise with the ability to design complex enterprise solutions, influence technology strategy and deliver scalable, future-ready insurance platforms.
You will work closely with CIOs, CTOs, enterprise architecture teams and senior business stakeholders to shape architectural direction, establish technical standards and ensure successful integration of Guidewire within the wider insurance technology ecosystem.
- Define and lead the end-to-end solution architecture for complex Guidewire implementation and transformation programmes.

- Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter architecture experience.
