Synpulse Group seeks a Senior Solution Architect to bridge technology and business strategy in Germany. You will craft scalable, secure architectures across cloud, web, mobile and backend, while embedding AI/GenAI capabilities and leading architectural reviews.

With 8+ years in software engineering or architecture and strong communication, you will mentor teams, work in agile environments, and drive transformation for financial services clients across Germany and beyond.

Job Requirements

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand business goals, identify technology opportunities, and define digital transformation strategies
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performing architectures across Cloud, web, mobile, and backend systems, often in the context of complex enterprise ecosystems
• Architect modern data platforms and pipelines, and embed AI/ML and GenAI capabilities into end-to-end solutions, treating data and intelligence as first‑class architectural concerns
• Leverage Cloud Native and Cloud Agnostic design principles to create flexible, portable, and resilient architectures that can thrive across multi-cloud environments
• Use industry-standard modeling approaches like C4Model, ArchiMate, or equivalent to document and communicate system architecture clearly
• Lead architecture reviews, technical discovery sessions, and proof-of-concepts
• Act as a hands‑on advisor throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and quality expectations
• Work in agile and multidisciplinary teams to deliver impactful solutions at speed
• Maintain a strong awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends, especially in financial services and fintech
• Mentor and inspire engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning

Job Responsibilities

• At least 8 years of professional experience in software engineering or solution architecture, including a minimum of 3 years in a lead or senior architect role
• Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise‑grade systems within financial services, banking, wealth management, or insurance
• Deep understanding of Cloud Native architectures, including containerisation, Kubernetes, service mesh, and serverless technologies, as well as Cloud Agnostic approaches for multi-cloud and hybrid‑cloud deployments
• Strong expertise in modern technology stacks, including event‑driven architectures, microservices, APIs, and DevSecOps
• Solid knowledge of data engineering and data architecture, including data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming technologies, combined with experience integrating AI/ML into production environments
• Proficiency with architectural modelling tools and frameworks such as C4 Model, PlantUML, Structurizr, or ArchiMate
• Hands‑on experience designing and deploying on‑premises and hybrid infrastructure solutions in highly regulated environments
• Proven ability to design and deliver fixed‑price or outcome‑based projects while balancing scope, quality, and timelines
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge business stakeholders and technical teams
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, combined with a pragmatic, delivery‑focused approach
• Collaborative mindset, leadership potential, and the ability to coach and mentor others
• Fluent English is required; German language skills are an advantage
• Must have the legal right to work in Germany - Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
