ELA Container, based in Haren (Ems), Germany, seeks a Group Lead Production Engineering to lead the Production Process Planning team and to shape engineering-driven production improvements for mobile space solutions.

You will drive Lean and Shopfloor projects, oversee automation initiatives, and contribute to site planning and product development, including ramp-ups. Join a family-run company with global reach and strong growth.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in process planning with leadership experience.
• Strong MS Office skills; ERP experience, SAP preferred.
• REFA / MTM qualification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• German and English written and spoken proficiency.

• Plan, design, and standardize production processes to boost productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Implement and continuously develop Lean and Shopfloor Management systems; drive continuous improvement.
• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership for the Production Process Planning team.
• Manage automation, digitalization, and optimization projects within the production environment.
• Plan and develop existing plants and contribute to new site planning.
• Support the product development process, including ramp-up management and optimization of new products and assemblies.

You will actively shape the industrial series production of our mobile space solutions, optimize processes, and drive innovative solutions in automation and robotics. Your Future Role

• Planning, designing, and standardizing production processes and work systems to increase productivity, quality, and cost efficiency
• Implementing and continuously developing Lean and Shopfloor Management systems, as well as driving continuous process improvement
• Providing functional and disciplinary leadership and supporting the development of the Production Process Planning team
• Managing automation, digitalization, and optimization projects within the production environment
• Planning and further developing existing plants, as well as contributing to the planning of new sites
• Supporting the product development process, including ramp-up management and the optimization of new products and assemblies

What You Bring to the Team

• Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in process planning, ideally within a production environment, as well as experience in leading employees
• Good knowledge of MS Office and experience working with ERP systems, ideally SAP
• REFA / MTM qualification is an advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good to very good written and spoken German and English
