SSC Space in Gilching (DLR-GfR) is seeking a Ground Segment AIV Engineer to join our Galileo ground control team. You will support campaigns, maintain end-to-end environments, and contribute to system evolutions in a multinational, security-conscious setting.

The role requires a university degree, experience in software integration and Linux environments, and fluency in English. We offer a full-time position in a growing space company with relocation support, training, and a competitive salary.

Aufgaben

• Support AIV campaigns for the Galileo Ground Control Segment.
• Support the upgrade of end-to-end integrated maintenance and troubleshooting environments for Galileo systems.
• Support minor and major evolutions of the Ground Control Segment Infrastructure.
• Support operations and other maintenance teams for problem management, system restoration, vulnerability management and handling of security incidents.
• Definition and maintenance of test documentation.
• Investigation and analysis of software anomalies.
• Definition and maintenance of workarounds and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in the Anomaly Review Boards.
