SSC Space in Gilching, Germany, is seeking a Ground Segment AIV Engineer to support Galileo Ground Control Segment campaigns. The role is full-time (40h/week) with EU citizenship required, starting November 2026.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to upgrade maintenance environments, assist in system evolutions, and ensure robust troubleshooting and incident handling. Relocation and language training are among the offered benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in software integration, verification and validation.

Aufgaben

• Support Galileo Ground Control Segment AIV campaigns.
• Assist in upgrading end-to-end integrated maintenance and troubleshooting environments for Galileo systems.
• Support minor and major evolutions of the Ground Control Segment Infrastructure.
• Assist operations and maintenance teams with problem management and incident handling.
• Define and maintain test documentation.
• Investigate and analyse software anomalies.
• Develop and maintain workarounds and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in Anomaly Review Boards.

Responsibilities

• Support AIV campaigns for the Galileo Ground Control Segment
• Support the upgrade of end-to-end integrated maintenance and troubleshooting environments for Galileo systems
• Support minor and major evolutions of the Ground Control Segment Infrastructure
• Support operations and other maintenance teams for problem management, system restoration, vulnerability management and handling of security incidents.
• Definition and maintenance of test documentation
• Investigation and analysis of software anomalies
• Definition and maintenance of workarounds and troubleshooting procedures
• Participate in the Anomaly Review Boards
