Job summary

Qualifications

• A Level 7 qualification in Health and Safety is required or highly preferred.
• Experience in construction or highly regulated environments is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to build positive relationships with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client to ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations.
• Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Conduct EHS audits and investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Provide expert site EHS advice to Project Management.
• Plan and deliver EHS training sessions, including toolbox talks.
• Report on EHS performance metrics as required.
• Assist Senior Safety Officers and the EHS Department, including site cover.
• Maintain the EHS Safety Management System for ongoing compliance.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Collaborate with our client to ensure project adherence to all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
• Conduct EHS audits and investigations, implementing corrective and preventative actions as needed.
• Provide expert advice on site EHS best practices to Project Management.
• Plan and deliver EHS training sessions, including 'Toolbox Talks.'.
• Report on EHS performance metrics as required.
• Assist Senior Safety Officers and the EHS Department, including providing site cover relief when necessary.
• Maintain the EHS Safety Management System to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• A level 7 qualification in Health and Safety.
• Experience in the construction sector is desirable, though not essential. Exposure to Pharma, Med/Tech, or other high‑compliance environments is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to develop positive working relationships with project stakeholders.
• Proficiency in IT skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
