Aufgaben

• Safely operate a company rigid truck (Category C) transporting M&E materials, tools, plant and equipment to and from construction sites.
• Carry out local and regional driving in compliance with German road traffic laws and EU driver regulations.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects per company procedures.
• Secure loads correctly and ensure compliance with load restraint and weight regulations.
• Maintain delivery documentation, tachograph records and basic transport paperwork.
• Load and unload materials manually or with mechanical aids.
• Assist mechanical and electrical teams with general site support duties.
• Distribute materials, pipework, containment and equipment on active construction sites.
• Support general site activities including setup, housekeeping and material handling.
• Follow site-specific health, safety and environmental procedures always.
• Assist with general workshop activities including material preparation, organisation and cleaning.
• Support prefabrication and preparation work where required.
• Ensure tools and equipment are handled, stored, and returned correctly.
• Maintain a tidy, safe working environment in vehicles, workshops, and on site.
• Represent the company professionally when attending client sites.

The Rigid Truck Driver / General Operative supports M&E engineering operations by safely transporting materials and equipment to sites using a company vehicle. The role also involves assisting with general construction site and workshop activities to ensure projects run efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Safely operate a company rigid truck (Category C) transporting M&E materials, tools, plant, and equipment to and from construction sites, suppliers, and depots
• Carry out local and regional driving in accordance with German road traffic laws and EU driver regulations
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures
